卡爾·拉格菲爾德 Karl Lagerfeld 被稱為時裝屆的“凱撒大帝”“老佛爺”，這位年逾古稀的設計師擁有幾倍於年輕人的精力，很多人都知道他是著名時裝品牌香奈兒的設計師，其實他還承擔了好幾個時裝品牌的設計監製工作，除此之外，他還是知名的攝影家和插畫家。他的知名度已經超越了時尚圈，幾乎可以與電影明星相提並論。

這位老佛爺7月19號在柏林時裝週時尚之星獎(Elle Fashion Star Award)頒獎典禮上被授予終身成就即最高榮譽白金獎。不過這位74歲的設計師對於“終身成就”這幾個字卻並不認同。馬尾辨、高領襯衫、黑色太陽鏡，卡爾·拉格菲爾德以他標準的“拉氏”裝扮出現在頒獎典禮現場。卡爾一生獲得過無數的榮譽，在捧起終身成就獎的獎杯時，他還不忘幽默一把。 “終身成就?我還沒死呢，不至於那麼糟吧。我的意思是獲獎的感覺真好。”
