Lu Song 吕松 is an exciting Beijing-based emerging artist (born 1982) who previously studied in London, UK. Recently, Lu was identified as one of the ’50 Under 50: The Next Most Collectable Artists’ by ‘ART+AUCTION’ Magazine (June 2013). Since March 2013, Lu has been represented by the prestigious Sean Kelly Gallery in New York.

In his works, Lu focuses on residential urban environments. He merges distant and undefined landscapes with with photorealistic quality and confronts man with nature. Daily encounters are twisted and stale environments are brightened by conversion.
